By cooperation and interaction of experts working in 16 study committees and over 250 working groups, CIGRE combines knowledge, experience, and expertise to contribute to solving current and future challenges in power systems.

MAKO CIGRE, as a National Committee of North Macedonia in CIGRE, is an association that follows the orientation of CIGRE and participates in achieving the mission of this international organization,
providing environment in which engineers will be able to articulate their views on different problem related to the work of power systems.
MAKO CIGRE was established in 1994 as an extension of the activities of the Macedonian experts in the field of energy in JUKO CIGRE.
MAKO CIGRE is a member of CIGRE since 1995.
MAKO CIGRE unites engineers working in power companies, industry, universities and institutions aiming to allow the exchange of knowledge, information and access to the latest developments and technical solutions in the energy sector.
COOPERATION – EXPERTISE - NETWORKING
This year we are celebrating 30 years since the establishment of MAKO CIGRE under the motto Cooperation – Expertise – Networking. Throughout the past 30 years, our organization has been built based on the volunteering activities of the members and their participation in the events that we have organized. We will continue with similar activities throughout this year, aiming to support the networking of the current and future members of MAKO CIGRE, as well as to intensify their cooperation and to support the articulation of the views of professionals in the field of power engineering and electricity related to the development and challenges of the electricity sector.

Most of the events are open to the public. However, some events (like study tours) are for MAKO CIGRE members only.
