CIGRE (Conseil International des Grands Réseaux Electriques) is a leading technical association in the field of power engineering. Its primary mission is to facilitate exchange of knowledge and information between engineers and experts in the field of electricity and synthesis of modern engineering practices to be applied internationally.
The Organization was formed in 1921 with headquarters in Paris.
MAKO CIGRE is an association that follows the orientation of CIGRE, and participates in achieving the mission of this international organization, providing a suitable environment in which engineers in front of professional and scientific community will be able to articulate their views on different problem related to the work of power systems. MAKO CIGRE is established in 1994 as an extension of the activities of the Macedonian experts in the field of energy in Juko CIGRE.
As Macedonian National Committee, MAKO CIGRE is a member of the International Organization of CIGRE since 1995.
This year we are celebrating 20 years of existence of MAKO CIGRE. Our organization is built with volunteer activities of the members and their participation in the events that were organized last 20 years.
MAKO CIGRE unites engineers working in power companies, industry, universities and institutions in order to all of them to allow the exchange of knowledge, information and access to the latest developments and technical solutions in the energy sector.
Exactly our members, companies that we are cooperate and all those who participated in the events that we organize, are our motive to think about the next 20 year. In the coming years we will strive for even greater support from engineers, who will join us in our mission to share the knowledge and practical experience from the works of electrical power systems.
